Morning Wake Up Series
Power Practice
This is the perfect practice to begin your day. The navel center controls the entire pranic system. When the navel is balanced and energized, the entire system comes into balance. This short and energizing kriya does just that…it brings your entire system into balance. Consider starting your day and your sadhana with this kriya.
(NOTE: The 45 minute Essential Tune Up Power Practice begins with this wake up series.)
Please start by watching the intro video in full, and then proceed to the Power Practice below. Make sure to reference the Power Practice supplement videos to the right for extra guidance with the Kundalini Yoga system.
(Guidelines for Women: Women who are menstruating (on the first 3 days of the cycle) or are pregnant should avoid breath of fire and other exercises that powerful engage the navel center like Stretch Pose or Sat Kriya. Inverted poses where the legs are lifted higher then the naval point should also be avoided. Long deep breathing can be done in the place of breath of fire. Resting in childs pose or savasana, during poses like stretch pose, is also encouraged. Any person with a known medical condition should always consult their physician before engaging in yoga practice.)
