Sat Kriya with Gong Relaxation
This Power Practice is very simple, and very effective. There is no kriya that does so much in the shortest amount of time as Sat Kriya. The Power Practice below is an 11 minute Sat Kriya with a meditative gong relaxation. After completing Sat Kriya, relaxation is required. Relaxing to the sound of the gong maximizes the effect. Enjoy the practice!
For a more extensive practice that includes this Sat Kriya and gong, use the 45 Minute Essential Tune Up.
Make sure to reference the Power Practice supplement videos to the right for extra guidance with the Kundalini Yoga system.
Guidelines for Women: Women who are menstruating (on the first 3 days of the cycle) or are pregnant should avoid breath of fire and other exercises that powerful engage the naval center like Sat Kriya. Inverted poses where the legs are lifted higher then the naval point should also be avoided. Long deep breathing can be done in the place of breath of fire. Resting in childs pose or savasana, during poses like stretch pose, is also encouraged. Any person with a known medical condition should always consult their physician before engaging in yoga practice.
There cannot be enough praise of this meditation and its growth promoting effect on the personality. It gives radiance, patience, and love. It can also be used to antidote daily stress and even jet lag.
